PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Starter Motor Armature Tester test below items
1. Bar to bar resistance (Inter-chip resistance of two commutator bars)
2. Welding resistance (To check the welding quality, the smaller the better)
3. 180° Cross resistance (Bar to bar resistance of commutator which is 180° angle with opposite side)
4. Surge (Between the turns of the coils, comparing waveforms)
5. Isolation resistance (Resistance of the coils and stack core)
6. Hi-pot (High voltage between the coils and armature stack core)

About the starter armature surge test, adjacent and space, I know tht is a qaalitative test but I need to know is there any rule to specify the frequency and voltage for different armatures?
Answer:
Starter armature surge test frequency for your machine is 40MHz, this frequency is for zoom in zoom out of waveform, pull and extend the waveform apart for clearly observation

The testing machine surge voltage is related to your starting motor armature's products situation and production process, for testing starter armtature motor 12V,24V, we usually set the surge current as 800V ~ 1000V in China local starter armature manufacturers.

In the graph what does the X axis represents?
Answer:
The graph waveform is for comparing area difference of tested wavefrom and sampling waveform,
The X axis represents the decay time (in µs) of the waveform, wave decaying along the time

Could you give us idest set the start point and end point of comparing the waveform?I mean that two vertical red lines used to delimitate the area

The two red line should include cover .5~2 wavefrom, the idea start point we usually choose near the zero corssing or peak position of the first Peak oscillation period
