How to choose the suitable armature welding hot stacking machine?
In armature manufacturing process, winding and fusing are two most important process related to motor quality.
Armature commutator spot welding machine covers welding machine with AC power supply, DC power supply,
AC power supply is cheap and widely applied to armatures with slot type and hook type commutator.
Welding machine is a high power consumption machine,DC power supply save power around 20% comparing to AC power supply.
AC power supply welding machine can occur 2000AP while DC power supply can generate current 20000AP,
So the soldering time is shorter for DC power supply which is harmless to commutator while AC power supply need longer conductor fusing time which might harm commutator.
By armature testing machine we can get the soldering result by measuring the resistance after welding,
The smaller resistance is what a good result show to us!
During the armature commutator welding machine, there are mainly two hot stacking machine to choose, one is welding machine with AC power supply and the other is spot welding with DC power supply.
The machine with DC power supply can absolutely achieve a better welding result while meantime it is much more costly.
DC power supply is stable when welding, and cause less harm to the commutator, for some high requirement motor such as car sunroof motor manufacturers, they usually choose hot staking machine to achieve stable quality.
For the welding machine,Compared with AC power, DC power supply to provide a stable and smooth arc droplet transfer. Once the arc is ignited, the DC arc to maintain continuous combustion; while AC power welding, due to the current and the voltage change direction and every second of arc to extinguish and re-ignite the 120, the arc is not continuous and stable combustion. In the case of lower welding current, DC arc to the molten weld metal has good wetting action, and can regulate the bead size, it is very suitable for welding thin pieces. AC DC power more than suitable for overhead welding and vertical welding, because the DC arc is relatively short.
