There is no winding on rotor, this is the main feature of SR motor,for the common motor working principle, we know energized conductor in magnetic field drive and force the rotation of the motor. But there is no winding on rotor and no squirrel cage, what to force the rotor tor rotate,
SR motor use the smallest magnetoresistance principle, the magnetic flux is always closed along the path of least reluctance, the use of pole teeth attraction between the pull rotor rotation.
