Motor stator fly winder verses needle wind

For motor stator fly winding, the tensioner device control the wire's winding tension, and the copper wire or aluminum wire itself move in the stator to finsih the winding,

While needle winding's movement is the needle itself, so there must be some space for the needle's movement, that why some BLDC stator with skew slot can only be wound by hand, the machine as the slot size is narrow for the needle,

So if you consider using needle winding, you should design the skew BLDC stator with enough space for machine working
