After coil making process, we need to insert the coil to the stator, we can do the job manually or by machine.
Previously, some plant do the job manually including some pump(bombas) manufactures in Wenling China where are thousands of pumps plants, as the labor cost improve a lot, plant considered to use machines to instead of labor work.
For a stator with Primary and secondary winding, if there is no insulation paper between the primary and secondary winding, you could use one coil inserting machine, the machine could achieve filling rate up to 80%,
If there is insulation paper in-between the main and aux winding, you need to use two times coil inserting machine.
Compare the cost in long time regarding labor and machinery, then decide and choose the machine supplier carefully.
